You might think of FPS as "KUSP’s op-ed page for the airwaves," but it’s much more. It’s a venue for the unique voices of the surrounding community, shown by the diversity of the program’s authors and the topics they choose.

The show airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:33 a.m. and 5:33 p.m. and is produced by MARGIE KERN-MARSHAL, GUY LASNIER and MARSEA MARCUS. A "best of" First Person Singular airs each Sunday at 8:59 a.m.

You might think of FPS as "KUSP’s op-ed page for the airwaves," but it’s much more. It’s a venue for the unique voices of the surrounding community, shown by the diversity of the program’s authors and the topics they choose.

We’ve heard from artists and poets, novelists, students and teachers, community activists and retirees. They’ve shared their stories and anecdotes on a wide range of topics, including local and international politics, raising children, childhood memories and even household pets.

We are beginning the show’s fifth year and know there are more voices waiting to entertain us and make us think. Tell us what’s on your mind.
