Barry Finnegan of DAPSE gives a 13 minute analysis of the undemocratic nature of the EU when negotiating away public ownership, and then gives a three minute response to some questions.

At the first public meeting of DAPSE (Democracy and Public Services in Europe), held in Dublin on December 6th 2003, Dr. Franz Josef Stumman, Ailbhe Smith and Barry Finnegan were the main speakers.

The issues raised are as relevant now as they were then, EU Constitution notwithstanding.

The first piece as a 13 minute eloquent extract from Barry's thoughts.

First broadcast on NearFM's 'Majority World', March 11th, 2004, but is worth listening to for all our sakes.
