The NC Open Elections Coalition, joined by the NC Green Party, moves forward in Ballot Status Reform

The monopoly of the corporate political parties is being challenged by a consortium of 'third parties', tired of living without taxation with representation.

Most of the states of the union give ballot status to new political parties if they get one or two percent of the voting electorate, but NC is demanding the impossible - ten percent. The robbery of the state is maintained when the honest cannot band together to defeat the looters, and Raleigh is working to keep it that way.

Now, many of the small parties are joining together to get the change. Lobbying, petitioning and old-fashoned grass-roots organising are being maintained, and they need your help.

Right, left or center, all are invited to get this ugly road-block out of the way, so N Carolina can get their taxes spent on local projects, and not pet projects of pretenders to a throne.
