On Friday, July 14, a small but very noisy group of protestors showed up at the home of US Dept of Energy secretary Samual Bodman, demanding that the US and the G8 abandon the focus on nuclear, coal, and on oil wars as "energy security."

We assembled in front of the Naval Observatory, home of Vice President and former Halliburton CEO Cheney after a Critical Mass bike ride.

On arriving, the cops attempted without success to demand personal and other information from protestors, but received nothing and gave up!

Since Cheney's was infested with cops, we decided to bypass this target and move directly to our true objective, the home of Energy secretary Samual Bodman at 3025 Whitehaven.

At Bodmans' we opened up with chants such as"No Coal, No Nukes, G-8 shut it down!" It is not that widely known that the Department of Energy is mainly a nuclear energy/weapon organization with additional interests in coal and oil.

Demos at the homes of the criminals who are running the G-8 are far more likely to be noticed and effective than protesting on some weekend in front of empty office buildings/

With protestors being brutalized in Putin's "post-Soviet" regime,it has become important for the voice of protest to be heard elsewhere!
