Here is my musical, (experimental/ambient), interpretation of the Rennes-le-Chateau mystery.

"Rennes-le-Chateau. Very deep level of imaginative soundcape with dark mysterious undercurrents. The tension created in this piece is most stimulating. It is a serious piece of electronic imagery through music that creates a kind of sacred space for the stunning mysteries of history and religion to run wild in. Very good interpretation of the lore of Rennes-le-Chateau.

There are various snippets of haunting melodies and themes coming at you through a veil of mystery.
This is an Extraordinary work."

The mystery of Rennes Le Chateau, (located in Languedoc, an unspoiled area of southern France), has kept researcher, dreamer and philosopher alike busy for many years.
The story starts with a few facts that cannot be disputed.
Berenger Saunier was made the priest of Rennes Le Chateau in 1885.
He started off on a very poor stipend of only a few pounds per year and had to beg from the local folk for food.
Yet, sometime later it became apparent that he had come into a great fortune.
Various theories have emerged as to why our man Berenger suddenly got so rich.
The most popular is that he was paid a vast sum by the Vatican after a Mason who was assisting with some repairs in Berenger's church, stumbled upon a hidden parchment and codex secreted inside a crumbling stone pillar.
The document in question is said to link Rennes Le Chateau with many wonders, including the Holy Grail, the Ark of Noah, the Ark of the Covenant and the treasures of the Temple of Solomon.
There is also much to say that the secret lies in the 40 square miles of sacred landscape geometry surrounding Rennes Le Chateau. According to one researcher, the Paris Meridian may have been drawn so that it quite deliberately passes, ley-fashion, straight through Rennes Le Chateau, Arques, and Conques.
Others see links between the site and Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland or Shugborough Hall in Staffordshire, England. My concept music here focuses on this ''Geometric Riddle' and celebrates the magic and mystery which continues to envelope Rennes Le Chateau.
