Is Pipers the best contribution england made to music?

tidbits:
- Interstellar Overdrive, one of the first songs I ever covered; easily one of the best instrumental songs in pop music history
- I have never actually heard this album until Sid Barret died. Lucifer Sam must be one of the top rock songs I have ever heard.
- Astronomy Domine had a popular cover in the 1990's
- The Scarecrow was one of the first pop tunes Pink Floyd made
- SYd Barret is underated and utterly misunderstood - if anything 'killed' him, it was the corruption in the record industry, including its most successful artists. Do not expect me to explain that one if you do not know what it means. So I ask, has Barret, after all those years of disco and pop-punk and metal, taken the music industry to the grave with him? Pretty saintly...
- Lucifer Sam could be a antifa theme
