On Tuesday, January 13, the Santa Barbara Veterans for Peace gave a presentation at the Santa Cruz Library on Arlington West. The main idea of the presentation is for people just like you and me to take a proactive role in getting the truth out to people in a constructive manner, and specifically to build memorials in communities throughout the United States.

The Santa Barbara Chapter of the Veterans For Peace has been on the beach in front of well-known Stearns Wharf all day for nine consecutive Sundays, interacting with the many tourists from all over the world through a project now called "Arlington West." Arlington West consists of a small white cross for every soldier killed in Iraq.
