SALUD-AH-DIN Province, Tikrit, Iraq: A US soldier was killed Sunday in what the US military says was a vehicle accident.

NINEVEH provice, Iraq: A US soldier was killed Saturday, May 30 when Resistance fighters hurled grenades at a US patrol according to the US military.

With at least 22 US soldiers killed, May has been the the deadliest month since September for US soldiers in Iaq.

ARKANSAS, the United States: One US soldier was killed and another wounded in a drive-by shooting at a recruiting center. Shortly therafter, police arrested Mujahid Muhammed, who formerly had an American style name, age 23 in a black SUV with an assault rifle.

BAQUBA, Iraq, First of June: A suicide car bomb struck a police checkpoint in a town in the volatile province of Diyala on Monday, killing a policeman and wounding nine people according to a source in the provincial police

BAGHDAD: A bomb explosion at a wholesale vegetable market in southern Baghdad early Monday killed four people and wounded 13 others according to a source in the Interior Ministry

MOSUL: A mortar round landed on police station, wounding two policemen in eastern Mosul

JALAWLA : Police shot dead a suicide car bomber before he managed to strike a police checkpoint, but his car still detonated,with the explosion short of the target killing one civilian and wounding six according to police;

BAGHDAD, 31st of May: One mortar round hit Palestine Street in eastern Baghdad around 9:20 p.m. The shell fell near a police patrol injuring a policeman.
