DETAILS of IRAQ UPDATE:
Another US soldier has been killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq. A US military statement says the Multi-National Division — Baghdad soldier died Tuesday of wounds suffered in the blast near a patrol in an eastern section of the Iraqi capital.
At least 4,308 members of the U.S. military have died in Iraq since the war began in March 2003. Over 5,000 US soldiers have died in the combined wars in Iraq and Afghanistan

BAGHDAD,2nd of June: An improvised explosive device went off near a U.S. army convoy in eastern Baghdad, a police source said Wednesday. “An explosive charge was detonated in al-Jawader neighborhood in the Sadr City in eastern Baghdad late Tuesday targeting a U.S. army convoy,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency

BAGHDAD, 1st of June:— Seven bomb blasts ripped through Iraq's capital killing at least 32 people and wounding more than 130 in the latest sign that violence may be on the upswing again.
At 8 a.m., the deputy director of the Internal Security Court, whom police identified only as Brig. Gen. Saadoun, survived a car bomb that targeted his convoy in northeast Baghdad. Two people were killed, including a security guard. Four were wounded.
