On June 10 at about 8:30 AM, protesters arrived at the DC offices of Brown Advisary, one of the largest institutional investgors in Huntingdon Life Sciences or HLS. HLS "researchers" has been caught in 7 undercover investigations doing things like punching beagle puppies in the face and dissecting live monkeys with no painkillers of any kind. This has been done to test products including bleach and Splenda!

NO COPS! Usually, police harass animal rights protests, but they were curiously absent for once.

After about 45 minutes, protesters moved on to the offices of Glaxo-SmithKline at 1500 K st NW. Glaxo-SmithKline is responsible for about 40% of all of HLS's business. That's a lot of puppy killing! This did not prevent twelve children from dying in GSK-sponsored in Argentina.

Once again, no cops.

Finally, everyone moved on to a protest at the Austrian Embassy. In Austria, ten animal rights activsts did over 4 months in solitary confinement, and now these thugs plan to charge 30 more activists with "forming a criminal organization!"

In Austria, like in the US, incredible persecution has been directed at pro-animal and pro-Earth activists. In the US, the FBI has been busy literally chasing "Elves" of the ELF(which has never killed anyone) while REAL terrorists of the far right prepared to kill Dr Tiller over abortion and to attack the Holocaust Museum. On the same day as this protest, a right wing terrorist connected to white supremacist organizations killed a working class security guard at the Holocaust Museum. Perhaps if law enforcement wasn't so busy chasing eco-"elves" while ignoring terrorists, this would nopt have happened...
