A Warrior Against the Wars: A Conversation with Iraq War Veteran Ethan McCord
An hour-long conversation with Iraq War Veteran Ethan McCord. McCord is the soldier showin in the Collateral Murder video that was allegedly leaked to Wikileaks by Bradley Manning and released broadly around the world. The video portrays US soldiers in and Apache helicopter hovering over the scene and joking about the slaughter of Iraqi civilians. The video shot from the helicopter shows McCord defying the accepted norms of behavior for US soldiers in Iraq by stepping forward to rescue two severely wounded children. After leaving the military McCord has dedicated himself to organizing against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan with a special emphasis on reaching out to high school students to tell them the truth behind the lies of military recruiters.
