We're back on 1680 AM! Here's the lead-in to our extensive Counterinaugural coverage.
The first file is an inspirational piece, pointing out that we "tore down the fences" and that Bush cannot appear in public without the "protection" of 8 foot fences and thousands of cops.
The second piece points out that there is a lot more work to do, organizing in our own communities. We state that sweatshops, war, and devastation are not inevitable but another world is possible-but that Bush's speech yesterday is a call for war on all regimes that are not open to capitalism, thus laying out the stakes.
The third piece "renewal" states that
"Fire was woken from the ashes of Seattle,
light through the shadows has shined
Renewed is the spirit of resistance,
This president is not our king!"
"And now, its up to everyone to keep this flame alive. To keep alive the spirit of resistance to evil"
We have the power, we demonstrated it on January 20th.It is up to us, having pulled the Sword of Resistance from the stone of inaugural security, to show that we know how to use it!"
