Yesterday morning, MAYDAY DC disrupted the open house the Corcoran Gallery of Art held for prospective students. Two MAYDAY DC activists took over the podium at an indoor assembly, and protestors outside spread their message farther.

A suprising number of prospective students told MAYDAY DC that they would not now consider the Corcoran School of Art! This hurts the Corcoran gallery of Art (owner of the school) where it hurts.

The Corcoran was behind Mayor William's decision to close Randall Shelter and throw 170 people out in the street, so now the other shoe is beginning to drop. Next action: Wednesday, 7PM outside a Corcoran fundraiser at 500 17th st NW.

Audio was recorded at MAYDAY DC's feeding of homeless people outside Randall School, a participant in the action and a homeless man who used to sleep at the shelter.
