[music out. rehearsal dialogue:]
[conversation] ":I have to tell you, when we play 'America' in such an upbeat way, people have tears in their eyes.' 'Really?... When we play the "Star Spangled Banner,' we have to mangle it more. It's supposed to be the Jimi Hendrix version.. " [conversation continues]
[voiceover] "We play music because we think that the worst music is better than the best speech."
