The Hill of Tara, located 48 km northwest of Dublin, is one of Ireland's most important cultural icons. Dating back more than 5000 years to the neolithic age, Tara is known in both myth and history as the traditional seat of the High Kings of Ireland.

Friday 22nd April was International Earth Day. VOICE (Voice of Irish Concern for the Environment) invited people to gather on the Hill of Tara to resite a poem of their choice to declare respect for Earth in poetry.
Earth Day was first celebrated in North America in 1970 and it is now celebrated almost worldwide.
