Just days
after arriving home from Quebec City and the protests surrounding the Summit
of the Americas, Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center journalists Paul
Kotheimer, Peter Miller and others compiled a half-hour radio documentary
of their journey and experiences on the streets of Quebec City during the
protests. Originally aired April 30 on community radio WEFT during the IMC
Newshour, the documentary is split into 5 (easy-to-download) parts:

Part
One--An audio portrait of the Carnival Against Capital which took place
in Quebec City on April 20, 2001, along with an interview with a representative
of the Canadian Auto Workers who was participating in a direct action march
to the security perimeter that same day.

Two--Perspective from Urbana activist Becca Glaser on the use of teargas,
and on the motivation behind political direct action, along with a montage
