In this week's program: SBC loses big in the Texas legislature but now gambles on banning municipal broadband nationwide. Another round of Congressional wrangling is expected to begin soon about forcing TV's transition from analog to digital. NPR's first employee laments the state of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. And President George W. Bush suffers a moment of honesty in New York, explaining how a big part of his job involves "catapult[ing] the propaganda."

This program is free to all to air, although we would appreciate an e-mail to mediaminutes@freepress.net just so we know where it is being heard. Thanks!
