Lorry drivers in Hong Kong have called off a
five-day blockade of the territory's port after
they emerged victorious in an industrial
dispute.
The drivers have forced cargo-handling
companies owned by some of Hong Kong's
biggest conglomerates to back down after
they tried to levy new charges.
The cargo handlers, owned by some of Hong
Kong's biggest trading companies, backed
down and withdrew the fees they had tried to
impose last week.
