Interview from Algiers, Louisiana with Malik Rahim
RAD Radio - Sept 4, 2005
Sunday's 6-8PM Pacific Time
San Francisco & HOPE IV - The New Orleans Connection
In the early 1990s the Housing and Urban Development agency (HUD) developed a concept to bulldoze housing projects and leave the land vacant, thereby driving the low-income, retirees and disabled away from the area. The series of blunders in the rescue and flooding of New Orleans has the same fingerprints.
This episode of RAD Radio, ffrom San Francisco's Enemy Combatant Radio, interviews Malik Rahim, current resident of New Orleans, but formerly an activist in SF while HOPE IV was underway.
