In this week's program: A low power FM station serving Hurricane Katrina evacuees in Houston finally goes on the air, while microradio gets established in New Orleans as well. FCC Commissioners tour storm damage and vow to improve emergency responder radio service nationwide. Federal civilian authorities promise not to censor recovery and cleanup coverage, but the military won't follow their lead. And CPB chairman Ken Tomlinson most likely abused his position of power, but will most likely go unpunished.

This program is free to all to air. If you do, would you consider sending a contact e-mail to mediaminutes@freepress.net so that we may know where it is being heard? Thanks!
