Chief of Israeli army operations warned Palestinians they will use artillery to shell the Palestinian areas, including civilian homes, if the resistance groups do not stop firing the home-made Qassam shells from the Gaza strip.
Palestinian factions have already declared they will halt all attacks against Israeli targets from the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile Israel continues to shell the Gaza Strip, it blames the Palestinian Authority for stalling the peace process, and threatens to unilaterally annex land from the West Bank and withdraw to what Israel believes would be its new permanent borders.
Through the years of its occupation of the West Bank Israel has unilaterally annexed thousands of acres from the West Bank for the construction of settlements and the separation wall.
