Israel Lands Administration issued tenders for building 13 lots in Maali Adumim the largest settlement bloc, east of Jerusalem, while the Israeli Housing Ministry also issued tenders for building infrastructures in three settlement blocs in the West Bank.
The bids are for constructions within the settlement blocs, which will remain under Israeli control, according to the Israeli government policy.
This comes as a second time during this week when Israeli defense Minister Shaul Mofaz made a tour in the West Bank blocs affirming that expanding settlements lining up with constructing the Separation Wall will resume despite of US calls of halting settlements expansion declared by US secretary of state Condaleezza Rice during her last week's visit to the region.
