An interview with Robert Fisk, on his new book the The war for civilization; The Conquest of the Middle East. Robert Fisk speaks about the role of journalists in the Middle East from from lebanon, to the occupation of Iraq. Fisk also discusses the nature of the resistance in Iraq, the state of occupation and its links to the bigger picture of the middle east. He further discusses the role of the Canadian military in the occupation of Afghanistan.
Robert Fisk has been in the middle east for over twenty years covering the lebanon invasion by Israel, the Iraq-Iraq war, the occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq for the Independent newspaper in London, England and recently launched his book The war for Civilization; The Conquest of the Middle East.
