This interview Amir discusses the current political climate in Egypt in the parliamntery elections, and the grassroots opposition movement Kifeya (Enough)and its relation to the Muslim Brotherhood and there movement against the President Hosni Mubaraks, NDP National Democratic Party who is backed by the US government. The interview discusses the urgency to create a solidarity movement with the over 25,000 political prisoners in Egypt and widespread torture and repression of movements for democracy, justice. Who are trying to put an end to military rule and the neoliberal devestation of Egypt.
