attached is an mp3 file from my latest intervention of our noise collaboration with SplinterStalin from Italy.
title: "An Ode to Gaspings" (3:15)
background:
In early 1950's, the Lettrists in Paris splintered into half. Gil Wolman who contested Isou's dictatorship of the letter in poetry has introduced sound poetry i.e. breathing as a poem, this directly radicalised literature and music that produced a synthesis of it. Leaving the 50's is our generation where organic sounds is translated to mechanical noises. The noise collage you sent me is basically a translation of organic sounds that our body emits. In response to your mechanized sound poetry, i attached a recorded sound of pure breathing, gaspings and moans to operate chances between Machine and Flesh.
