This interview with Mehrdad Jamshidi on the 27th anniversary of the Iranian
revolution looks at the debates, and currents with in the Iranian revolution.
Mehrdad also speaks on the rise of a new reformist movement after the defeat of the
revolution. And the growth of a new movement amongst Irans transit workers, and poor
across the country.
Mehrdad talks at length about the current crisis domestically and the threat of US
military intervention and how it is benefiting the US and President Ahmadnijad in
order to supress social movements in Iran by focusing on the US antoginization of
Iran.
Mehrdad finally speaks on those lessons of the revolution has now on the growing and
more urgent crisis Iran is facing from the US Empire.
