On Sat, Feb 18, participants in the cross-country Immigrant caravan held a culminating rally on Capitol Hill.
Within five minutes, U$ Capitol Police attempted without success to initimidate us into leaving. They threateningly demandd that a written copy of the permit be produced instantly. We stood our ground and defied this lone bully while a copy was located.
Afterwards, speeches were given in both English and Spanish denouncing the Minutement and HR 4437.
Stickers appeared at the raly promoting a boycott of Wisconsin Cheese, as a Wisconsin Congressman is one of the key sponsors of HR 4437. Don't Buy racism!
