Friday night at the Houston's Unitarian Universalist Church, Cindy Corrie spoke at a Tribute to her daughter, Rachel Corrie, alongside speeches by the mother of local ISM activist Mary Nugent, and the mother of Nathan "Gypsy" Chain, a forest defender killed by a tree felled by a Pacific Lumber logger. All three mothers touched on the nonviolent work their children have carried out in the face of violence responses from corporate and government forces.
