This is a call for audio content for radio projects around protests against DSEi - Europe's biggest arms fair taking place during september in London (in fact also taking place on sept 11th)...
DSEi = Defence Systems and Equipment International
Disarm DSEi = http://www.dsei.org - over 50 groups have come together to protest against this huge arms fair - from CND to Reclaim The Streets.
There will be a week of actions including a day of NVDA, followed by a day of no-guidelines direct action + blockades.
On Sept 11th the arms traders will meet for their posh dinner reception - pretty sick huh!?
This is the biggest action in london for ages and a radio webstream will be running on sept 9th / 10th / 11th (details n servers to be confirmed - we hope icecast mp3 as well as ogg). There will also be the usual indymedia radio london one hour wednesday afternoon show on resonancefm.com 1pm-2pm gmt (broadcasting right in the middle of the DA day on FM)
So anyway, CONTENT IS NEEDED!
If you have or know of any good audio material relating to the arms industry, the arms trade, the effects of war etc please let us know.
The Disarm DSEi protests also coincide with the WTO ministerial in Cancun in Mexico, so any suitable related content is also desired.
