Summary details of Free Radio San Diego's coverage of the Cancun WTO events.
96.9FM will be providing extensive coverage of the Cancun WTO protests from
10-14 September, 2003. These will include the reading of all current
press reports from multiple sources (several IMC's, conventional media,
information given to FRSD directly, etc) live reports from the scene via mobile
and landline phone, and talk show style analysis with members of San Diego
affiliated with this action (i.e., Cancun residents living in the San Diego
area, labor rights activists, etc).

(broadband) connection. People are encouraged to use the 24Kb/s connection
whenever applicable, in order to keep the 56K connection available for
rebroadcasting purposes. The group providing the stream has been notified of
the event, and if the need for additional stream allocation is required (in
addition to current capacity), this can be adjusted within a few hours.
All San Diego residents will of course be able to tune into 96.9FM on their
radio dials.

There will be a Mexican phone number available as well, which will be published
as soon as possible. Callers are urged to use the Mexican number to lower their
own expenses.
The studios will be manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the actions
to handle any inbound news reports.
