Yesterday 51 protestors were arrested at the Pentagon on the third anniversary of Bush's invasion of Iraq

The original plan was to march from the Vietnam Beteran's Memorial to the Pentagon, but the Park Service gave organizers a lame excuse about "construction" and sunted the protest over to the south side of Independance Ave, out of sight of both the Vietnam and even the promised Korean War memorial. Organizers could have probably used the Vietnam memorial either WITHOUT a permit or by suing the PArk Service.

Cindy Sheehan was the keynote speaker, and as soon as she finished protestors moved into the Pentagon parking lot, where police had set up a pen of fencing. As activissts climed teh fence they were arrested, 51 in all.
