Aug 27, 2003
NCM, a nationwide coalition of over six hundred ethnic media outlets, and the Greenlining Institute, representing major minority business, church, consumer and civil rights groups, will host the second major gubernatorial debate of this year’s recall election.
So far, three of the six top candidates have committed to participating in the debate: Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante, Senator Tom McClintock, Arianna Huffington and Peter Camejo. A commitment has not yet been received from the Ueberroth or Schwarzenegger campaign teams.
The candidates will answer questions from a panel of journalists representing the state’s major ethnic media. They include: KTSF/China Crosstalk, ABS-CBN, The Filipino Channel; Worldlink TV/Mosaic—World News from the Middle East; Soul Beat TV; La Opinion; and Univision.
