Evo Morales, the Indigenous president of Bolivia, has decided to do something once and for all about corporate control of national resources:he has deployed the Bolivian Army to retake the gas fields!
What was that about "where is the antiglobalization movement?" We are doing quite well, thank you! Last week we denied sleep and corporate access to IMF and World Bank delegates.
This week Bolivia has decided they can retake their natural resources at minimal risk of U$ intervention. How is this possible? YOU make it possible! With the US bogged down in Iraqi flypaper, they cannot invade Latin America without bringing back the draft.
Since they cannot bring back the draft(thanks to the Resistance here), they therefore are incapable of invading Bolivia. In other words, US antiwar protestors have suceeeded in stabbing the oil companies in the back. Evo Morales, the indigenous President of Bolivia, has decided the time is right to take back what belongs to the people of Bolivia, and not to the oil companies.
