George Humphreys has served on the Restoration Advosory Board for more than a decade. The EPA describes the role of these boards as, "an expansion of DoD's Technical Review Committee concept. The boards are a forum for exchange of information and partnership among citizens, the installation, EPA, and State. Most importantly, they offer an opportunity for communities to provide input to the cleanup process.

Today our topic is "Occupy!" The year 2011 has seen citizen uprisings around the world. In December 2010 a Tunisian man set himself on fire in protest of police corruption and ill treatment. This led to huge street protests and a revolution that ousted the president. This inspired the wave of insurrections that became known as the "Arab Spring."
