A three day march over the last week from Marsh Fork to Sylvester, West Virginia brought protesters from around the country to challenge the coal mining practices of Massey Energy Company, practices that have radically altered the landscape of Appalachia. Jenka soderberg reports from WV:

The Oakland, CA, portion of the third anniversary of the Downing St Memos

The bay area of N California commemorated the third anniversary of the Downing St Meeting at Oakland's Grand Theatre. A panel of six spoke and discussed the options America has in this disclosure of the treason and self-aggrandizement by the Bush administration.

Panelists spoke for approximately one hour and took questions from the audience.
