Also known as Neiman-CARCASS! On February 20, with two bullhorns and well over a dozen protesters beseiging the front door, customer after customer walked out of Neimans without a shopping bag or any Neiman-Marcus merchandise.

After well over an hour, protesters decided to give Andrianas Furs another taste before they locked up for the day. Someone working there threatened protesters that “the FBI is coming to get you” but if this was true the investigation would be kept secret!

On Feb 18, Huntingdon Life sciences customers Novartis and Astra-Zenica got a long protest in their shared DC offices,.

A security guard inside was holding up some kind of paper and reading from it, while undercover cops in a gold car stalked the protesters at long range, taking photos with a large camera, presumably one with a big zoom lens.

At a Feb 13 fur protest, a participant told WSQT Radio that the husband of HLS customer Jennifer Luray had accused peaceful protesters of plotting to burn their home.

Since there has never been an ALF fire in the DC area, this ludicrous claim borders on slander. It is also stupid,as that sort of stuff didn't start in California either until the authorities began suppressing peaceful protests with injunctionns, raids, and arrests-sometimes for nothing more than giving out leaflets.

On Feb 13, animal rights activists returned tp Neiman-Marcus to demand an end to their fur sales. Almost immediately, a Neiman-Marcus security guard threw a door open into a protester's face, leaving him with a mouth full of sore and injured teeth.

The injury was not sufficient to knock him out of action, so the protest continued. An employee of Neiman-Marcus later complained of having no customers during the protest-meaning the protest was effective.
