Taylor Report: U.S. promoting Covid lies to cover its own catastrophic failure, Segment 1

The Taylor Report interviews Stephen Gowans once again about the US attempt to cover for its complete bungling of the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting so far in 550,000 preventable deaths, by blaming the Coronavirus on a lab leak in Wuhan, China. Gowans makes reference to a recent article by a Fellow on the Council on Foreign Relations that there will be benefits to the USA if its intel finds reasonable evidence of a Chinese coverup. These benefits are: 1) Precipitate "freefall" in China's relations with the rest of the world 2) raise questions about the suitability of the CCP to govern 3) force China to turn into itself and self-isolate 4) prevent the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 from being held Gowans finds it outrageous that the USA has the nerve to demand an unrestricted investigation into Wuhan lab records, while it would categorically reject any similar Chinese demands for access to the US Detrick Lab, which was shut down earlier due to its own problems. Clearly, after failing to follow the Chinese lead in stopping the transmission of COVID-19, Biden is now trying to deflect criticism by trying to shift blame towards China for the US failure to contain COVID-19.

3 months 1 week ago
Welcome to "The Radio Art Hour," a show where art is not just on the radio, but is the radio. "The Radio Art Hour" draws from the Wave Farm Broadcast Radio Art Archive, an online resource that aims to identify, coalesce, and celebrate historical and contemporary international radio artworks made by artists around the world, created specifically for terrestrial AM/FM broadcast, whether it be via commercial, public, community, or independent transmission. Come on a journey with us as radio artists explore broadcast radio space through poetic resuscitations and playful celebrations/subversions of the complex relationship between senders and receivers in this hour of radio about radio as an art form. "The Radio Art Hour" features introductions from Philip Grant and Tom Roe, and from Wave Farm Radio Art Fellows Karen Werner and Jess Speer. The Conet Project's recordings of numbers radio stations serve as interstitial sounds. Go to wavefarm.org for more information about "The Radio Art Hour" and Wave Farm's Radio Art Archive.

Radio Curious: "Lynda Koolish, Ph.D. – African American Writers", Segment 1

3 months 1 week ago
African American Writers: Portraits and Visions The voice of a writer can be heard in words, and sometimes seen in the writer’s face. It is unusual to find both in a book in which the creator is both the author and the photographer. Lynda Koolish, our guest on this archive edition of Radio Curious, is a professor of African American literature at San Diego State University and an accomplished photographer. She is the author of a book entitled “African American Writers: Portraits and Visions” in which she reveals the visage of 59 African American writers along with a thumbnail biography and summation of each writer’s vision. Lynda Koolish, Ph.D. recommends “Dien Cai Dau” and “Neon Vernacular” by Yusef Komunyakaa. Originally Broadcast: February 19, 2002
