** PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE BROADCASTING OUR PROGRAM **
This time on The Childrens Hour, we meet Ms. Caitlyn Gooch from Saddle Up & Read, an organization that motivates kids to read with horses.
Evan Daitz reviews My Life In The Fish Tank, and Maya Falcon gives us her review of PANDEMIC 2020: A 9 Year Olds Perspective by Prisha Hedau.
The kids in the Extinction Diaries teach us about why some zebras are being born with bizarre stripe patterns, and what that means.
We've got great music on this show, too. Learn with us!

Yes you read that correctly, I am renouncing Socialism, why? America's cultural spirit just isn't into it. Looking through American history I see patterns suggesting the society would be hostile to Socialism because the foundational principles required to build it up from the grassroots aren't there.

USE THE SECOND LINK! Explore climate disinformation. Russia outed pushing anti-vaccine movement, the American fossil fuel industry is literally gas-lighting consumers. Even Microsoft's Bill Gates donates to climate denying politicians. Its mess, but we begin with real science with Dr. David Archer, University of Chicago.

Radio Thrift Shop is DJ Frederick's two decade long (and counting) experiment, having evolved from Seldom Heard Radio. Radio Thrift Shop has a flexible format & an homage to the "underground" era of broadcasts of the 1960's and 1970's that DJ Frederick grew up listening to & features a homegrown mix of vinyl records, 78s, 45's, LPs, private press releases, and a variety of cassette tapes and homemade / self released cassettes & cds. Each broadcast of Radio Thrift Shop features an improvised or thematic playlist from DJ Frederick's music library. It's never the same program twice - or even once

The Progressive scholar and activist explores current conditions. And he explores what the American people should do next to begin restoring democracy and improving the lot of the 99%.
This week, Chomsky highlights the war on the working class waged by BOTH major political parties--and how the Left can fight back.
A memorial for labor activist/singer ANNE FEENEY--including one of her best songs--ends the program.
