with hundreds of micro transmitters, they might be one of the denser networks out there. Its good to have plenty of portals, but the costs get unmanageable, and in some way, out of hand as a systems solution.

It makes great local content. But regional signals require different equipment and infrastructure. I am extremely saddened with the confiscation of RFPI in Costa Rica. There is no single transmission at our disposal that can address an audience from Mexico down into the Andes and beyond. The need is there....

Unfortunately, the only Internet access that is open on Sunday, the day of the election, is out of range of the station signal. Since Radio Mujb'ab'lYol does not have Internet access at its studio, we will not be able to stream the station.

Instead, Radio Mujb'ab'lYol 106.5 FM will produce a mix of FM radio news off the airwaves mixed with announcements produced by the organization, which have been converted to MP3s on the hard drive of the new computer.
