Alrededor de las 13:45 horas a las espaldas de la rectoría de la UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) dio inicio el evento “Una Goya por la libertad de los presos políticos de Atenco” convocado por la Coordinadora Universitaria por la Libertad de los Presos de Atenco y el Comité Libertad y Justicia por Atenco, que tenía como objetivo dar un paso más en la lucha por la excarcelación de los 12 presos políticos de San Salvador Atenco que se encuentran detenidos injustamente desde mayo de 2006 en las cárceles mexicanas.

The Fifth Agent Orange Justice Tour from Vietnam to the US ended in mid May. It focused national attention on grassroots and legislative efforts to achieve a comprehensive assistance to the victims of Agent Orange in Vietnam, to the children and grandchildren of U.S. veterans exposed to Agent Orange, and to the Vietnamese Americans affected.
