This week, TNS has a grim update for our listeners: TNS Radio News – along with the rest of our operation – may soon come to an end due to a severe budget crisis. At our current funding levels, it seems highly unlikely that we would meet our 2006 fundraising goals before our bank account runs empty. So we're attempting one last, massive appeal to our readers and listeners – and anyone who believes in truly independent media – to save The NewStandard before we shut it down at the end of this month.

If the Animal Enterprise Terrorism act had included pro-Earth acts, the state of California's decison to sue 6 automakers over global warming would expose them to SHAC style prosecution. They city of Chicago's ban on Foie Gras would theoretically expose tehm to this.

Chicago's decision to coercively end the over $10,000 trade in Foie Gras(liver of force-fed goose) is a violation of the AETA. Will Federal prosecutors target them next?
