A delegation of peace activists leave for Jordan to meet with members of the Iraqi Parlament

For thirty days peace advocates have fasted throughout the nation, in prominant places, drawing attention to the high crimes of the Bush administration war in Iraq. Eight members of the new Iraqi Parlament have invited them to Aman, Jordan to parlay and break fast with them.

The Israeli army conducted air, sea and land attacks on several areas in the Gaza strip. Residents of the southern Lebanon areas bordering Israel are still facing heavy artillery shelling and F16 fighter jet missiles as part of Israel’s continued ground assault, and the army continues to attack West Bank residents.
