The Bush administration has been conducting a widespred program of warrantless surveillance on thousands of Americans, and since the revelations, the they have claimed the ongoing spying is within the presidential powers to conduct the so-called war on terrorism. But what has emerged is a different picture one reminiscent of the Watergate scandal and Cointelpro era when the admnistration was caught using the
