Interview with Abraham Kneisley on the Forward Motion of Evidence
A growing collection of law students and scholors throughout the nation have gathered together to display the evidence needed to induce impeachment of President George W. Bush, Vice President Richard B. Cheney, and their administration.
Teach-ins in a variety of cities will occur starting in mid-July, with prominent figures propounding the charges. The plateau of charges agreed upon by the organisation, Center for Constitutional Rights - NY, total four at this point:
1) illegal domestic spying in violation of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and the 4th Amendment;
2) misleading the country into a war of aggression in Iraq based on fraudulent claims;
3) indefinite detention, extraordinary rendition, and torture;
4) abuse of executive authority and subversion of the Constitution.
Almost fifty events start July 19th, including Oakland, California and New York City, followed by Washington DC on July 21 and Ann Arbor, Michigan on July 26. Other cities are encouraged to participate, and no town is too small. A video has been prepared that lays out the charges in a clear way. Each state and has the ability to prefer charges through the legislative process or advisory resoulutions.
