A delegation of peace activists leave for Jordan to meet with members of the Iraqi Parlament
For thirty days peace advocates have fasted throughout the nation, in prominant places, drawing attention to the high crimes of the Bush administration war in Iraq. Eight members of the new Iraqi Parlament have invited them to Aman, Jordan to parlay and break fast with them.
The delegation left Dulles airport on August 2 and fly this mission of peace. The itierary will take them into various regions and nations, so they will be reporting back on the conditions of the millions displaced, disrupted and inconvenienced by the Bush administration's lies and innuendos. Countless multitudes have sought refuge from the fighting in neighboring nations, and the costs of rents, food and necessities have doubtless skyrocketed.
