Mensaje de la comunidad de Brad Will a la delegación Zapatista
Compañeros,
Hemos perdido a nuestro hermano, Brad Will, y también a Emilio Alfonso Fabián, Esteban Zurrita, y a muchas otras que han caídos en los ataques en Oaxaca. En sus últimos momentos, nuestro compañero estaba de pie junto al pueblo de Oaxaca, así como estuvo de pie con muchos grupos antes. Él testificó de las injusticias por toda la Latinoamérica. Brad arriesgó su vida para que se conozcan bien las verdades de la opresión. Brad perdió su vida dedicándola a los sueños que el movimiento Zapatista ayudó a forjar. Statement from the Community of Brad Will to the Zapatista Delegation
Compañeros,
We have lost our brother, along with Emilio Alfonso Fabián, Esteban Zurrita, and along with the many fallen in the attacks on the teachers and civilians of Oaxaca. In his last moments, our friend stood with the people of Oaxaca, as he has stood with many groups before. He bore witness to injustices through the Americas. Brad risked his life so that the truth of oppression would be known. Brad lost his life in dedication to dreams that the Zapatista movement helped to shape. Brad
knew the risks, and made his decision. As we grieve his death, we celebrate his life, and his decision. We will continue to fight for the memory of Brad and the people of Oaxaca. We leave you with Brad's words from the report he filed on October 17, titled "Death in Oaxaca,"
