The environmental science movement since global unsustainability was discovered has been a lot bigger than most people realize. (As a result of yet another divide and conquer strategy.) It includes an evolutionary approach to psychology, to identify the reasons the decisions people make have led to environmental unsustainability in the first place.

We all have natural blind spots in our perception of the world that didn't matter-- or were helpful-- to our ancestors. But today, those blind spots, combined with our population size and technological level, are causing an environmental impact the world can no longer withstand.

I see that a lot of the G20 protesters are saying we need a better education system. Well the pioneers of global environmental science have been saying that for over 40 years! They've also been figuring out how to build a better education system, that revolves around the environment and our relationship to it.

Environmental sustainability depends on our learning how to see through our blind spots. That doesn't happen by people memorizing statistics. It depends on finding perspectives we can use to interpret information we can perceive in a way that won't lead to false assumptions about the information we can't perceive. That sounds complicated, but scientists finished that project years ago.

In my family we've been teachers and education activists since the Great Depression. So this audiobook is a compilation of how these perspectives were discovered and further discoveries they have led to. Then I direct you to other books where you can learn more about specific topics. The pioneers of global environmental science have been saying from the very beginning that the economic relationship we have to the environment can't continue and that if global disaster is going to be prevented, radical social change is necessary.

With books that are written for people with high school educations and that are available through any mainstream bookstore, you can:

Take over the public education system by proving that by not teaching anyone how to solve the environmental crisis, teachers are basically killing their students;

Set up your own education systems that can solve the problem;

Win public support for the anti-globalization movement; and

Find some big-time evidence for legal support by proving that laws against protesting against Capitalism don't clear the secular government of, by, and for the people requirement in the Constitution.

The scientific and technological levels we have right now are sufficient for us to move decisively in the direction of global environmental sustainability. The only remaining obstacles are political and educational. I have other books available through my site.
