On Feb 13, animal rights activists returned tp Neiman-Marcus to demand an end to their fur sales. Almost immediately, a Neiman-Marcus security guard threw a door open into a protester's face, leaving him with a mouth full of sore and injured teeth.

The injury was not sufficient to knock him out of action, so the protest continued. An employee of Neiman-Marcus later complained of having no customers during the protest-meaning the protest was effective.

One chant called them out for using furs from animals killed by anal or vaginal electrocution. This technique, now used by furriers to kill without marking the skin, was originally used by the Nazi Gestapo in places like Occupied France, 1940-1944. Used then to interrogate people, it is now used to kill animals outright. The prior usage suggests the potential to cause great pain and suffering-yet fur salons seem not to be bothered in any way by selling the end product of this.
