Vancouver's International Festival of Media Arts Seeks Volunteers!

Vancouver, BC – The New Forms Festival is an
international festival that showcases emerging new
media artists from around the world. This year, the
festival runs from October 14th to 28th at eight
different venues around the Lower Mainland. The
festival features an exhibition, a performance/events
series, and a conference consisting of keynote
addresses, panel presentations, and workshops.

The New Forms Festival would not exist without the
support, energy and enthusiasm of volunteers who work
in various roles – as drivers, gallery builders and
guides, security volunteers, merchandise volunteers,
hospitality & concessions volunteers, box office
volunteers and technical support volunteers. Each
volunteer is offered an opportunity to utilize and
develop valuable skills, as well as the chance to rub
elbows with international media artists. Volunteers
enjoy free access to festival events, a free festival
t-shirt, food, and other tantalizing perks.

Many thanks to all of the terrific volunteers who have
continued to support the New Forms Festival over the
past three years, and a warm welcome to all of the new
volunteers who will be joining this year’s volunteer
