Freak Radio Santa Cruz Raid

FCC U.S. Marshals Raid Freak Radio Santa Cruz this morning!!

FRSC was Radied today approx 9:45am the 10-15 U.S. marshals raided the location of FRSC with automatic weapons and riot gear shoved into sleeping residents, nobody was in station and was airing Democracy Now at the time of raid then later after the house was secure 5 FCC agents arived to locate station, word got out and approx 100-50 residents showed up to protest the raid, agents took all equipment used for broadcast including antenna various local media covered the raid including www.santacruz.indymedia.org somebody slashed the tires of the FCC & Marshals vechiles which stranded them until a towtruck came two people were served with warrant they tried to serve me so I left not accepting any paperwork the warrant was for the equipment nobody at this time has been arrested or fined one SCIMC journalist tried to get photos and was ruffed up by Marshals. Its a sad day for Free Speech FRSC has never been raided in almost 10yrs of broadcast FRSC was also supported by Santa Cruz City Council twice recently, FUCK THE FCC!!!
